Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

SwiftQuote AI offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all platform features. No credit card is required. If you choose not to subscribe when your trial ends, your account is paused automatically — no charge will ever be made for a free trial.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription in either of the following ways:

  • In-app — Settings → Subscription & Billing → "Cancel subscription". Takes effect immediately; you keep access until your billing period ends.
  • By email — send a request from your account email to hello@swiftquoteai.co.za. We will confirm within 1 business day.

Once cancelled, your account stays fully active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.

3. Refunds

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe and decide SwiftQuote AI is not right for your business, we will issue a full refund of your first payment if you request it within 7 days of that payment date and have generated fewer than 10 quotes on the paid plan. No questions asked.

To request a refund, email hello@swiftquoteai.co.za with your account email, the payment date, and an optional reason. Refund requests after 7 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time beyond the 7-day window.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed via PayFast back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. We charge no administration fee. Any bank currency conversion fees are outside our control.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the payment date
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms & Conditions
  • Billing periods already consumed in full
  • Add-on module charges where the add-on has been actively used

6. Service Failures & Credits

In the event of extended platform downtime or a material service failure caused by SwiftQuote AI (not by third parties such as PayFast, Supabase or Vercel), we may offer account credits or refunds at our discretion. These will be communicated to affected users by email.

7. Consumer Protection Act Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Where the CPA grants you broader cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply. You may contact the National Consumer Commission at www.thencc.org.za.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, reply to your original email thread and request escalation. A senior team member will review within 3 business days. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the relevant consumer tribunal or court under South African law.
