1. Free Plan

SwiftQuote AI offers a permanent free plan — 3 AI-generated quotes per month, no card required, no expiry date. The free plan is not a trial. No payment is ever collected for free plan usage. There is nothing to cancel. Simply stop using the account if you choose not to continue.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription in either of the following ways:

  • In-app — Settings → Subscription & Billing → “Cancel subscription”. Takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • By email — send a request from your account email to hello@swiftquoteai.co.za. We will confirm within 1 business day.

Once cancelled, your account stays fully active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.

3. ECTA Section 44 — Cooling-Off Right

5-Business-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), users who subscribed through a direct electronic transaction (website sign-up) have the right to cancel within 5 business days of their first paid subscription charge and request a full refund of that charge.

To exercise this right, email hello@swiftquoteai.co.za with your account email and the payment date. No reason is required within the statutory cooling-off window.

4. Refunds

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe to any paid plan and decide SwiftQuote AI is not right for your business, we will issue a full refund of your first payment if you request it within 14 days of that payment date and have generated fewer than 10 quotes on the paid plan. No questions asked.

To request a refund, use any of the following — same-day processing guaranteed:

  • WhatsApp (fastest) — message Thabo directly on 076 699 4391. Include your account email and payment date. Refunds processed same day.
  • Emailhello@swiftquoteai.co.za with your account email, payment date, and an optional reason.

We will not ask why you are leaving, and we will not attempt to retain you. The guarantee is unconditional within the 14-day window.

Refund requests after 14 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

SwiftQuote AI does not issue pro-rata refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the paid period with no partial refund issued.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed via Paystack back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. We charge no administration fee. Any bank currency conversion fees are outside our control.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the payment date (outside both the statutory cooling-off period and our guarantee window)
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms & Conditions
  • Billing periods already consumed in full
  • Add-on module charges where the add-on has been actively used

7. Non-Payment & Account Suspension

If a payment attempt fails on the billing date, SwiftQuote AI will retry the payment over a 3-day grace period. If payment is not received within the grace period, the account will be suspended and access to generated documents will be restricted until payment is resolved.

8. Service Failures & Credits

In the event of extended platform downtime or a material service failure caused by SwiftQuote AI (not by third parties such as Paystack, Supabase or Vercel), we may offer account credits or refunds at our discretion. These will be communicated to affected users by email.

9. Consumer Protection Act Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Where the CPA grants you broader cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply. You may contact the National Consumer Commission at www.thencc.org.za.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, reply to your original email thread and request escalation. A senior team member will review within 3 business days. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the relevant consumer tribunal or court under South African law.
