SwiftQuote AI is a software-as-a-service platform built for South African trades businesses — plumbing, electrical, solar, HVAC/air conditioning, landscaping and cleaning contractors — providing AI-powered quoting, invoicing, job management and client tracking. The platform is operated by Swift Quote AI (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/508778/07, with its registered address at 26 Haddington Close, Blue Valley.
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Our Information Officer is Thabo Julian Mashego, registered with the Information Regulator under registration number 2026-048008 (registered 29 June 2026).
The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) designates the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing personal information as the Responsible Party. By using SwiftQuote AI, the contractor (user) warrants and confirms the following:

Some of the providers we rely on to deliver SwiftQuote AI are located outside South Africa. South Africa’s Information Regulator has not published a list of countries it considers to have “adequate” data protection, so transfers are assessed individually under POPIA section 72.
All account data, quotes, leads and job records are stored here. We rely on Supabase’s data processing terms, which apply protections substantially similar to POPIA’s conditions for lawful processing, and on the fact that this hosting is necessary to perform our contract with you.
The SwiftQuote AI application is served via Vercel’s global edge network, with origin infrastructure based in the US. Request metadata (IP addresses, URLs) is processed as part of serving the application.
Job description text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate quote estimates. No personal client information is included — only job type, materials and trade category.
We do not transfer your personal information to any other third party outside South Africa. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2 or higher and all data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
We share your data only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform (see Section 5 for hosting and AI providers). Additional processors:

When you enter client information (names, phone numbers, email addresses) into SwiftQuote AI, you are the Responsible Party for that data under POPIA. You must ensure you have a lawful basis for storing your clients’ information — typically their consent to receive a quote or invoice.
We act as an Operator processing that data on your behalf, on your instructions, solely to run the platform. We will never contact your clients directly or use their data for our own purposes, including marketing.

SwiftQuote AI is a business platform for adults operating registered businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has created an account.
We will notify you of material changes via email and in-platform notification with a minimum 14-day notice period before changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
